The nose on this fan favorite seasonally released “Nama” unpasteurized sake is a great collection of apricot, peach, Asian pear, and mineral water aromas. Take a bite out of this raw sake that bites back. Zesty, bright, fleshy, crisp, and flinty. The nose on the first Nama of the winter and early spring is a ripe collection of grape, lemon, berries, apple, and powdered sugar aromas. A very fun first shiboritate of the season that is zesty, lively, chipy, and brash. Smooth, fat, and frisky this living sake has so many flavors to explore. Look for citrus, green apple, and custard at first glimpse then dig for minerals, vanilla, and snowmelt flavors that are riding on the bright fluid. Sake is supposed to be fun, and this Fuyu is as much snowmelt fun that you will have in your glass all season. And the 18% alcohol content will also keep you warm on these cold winter nights.
