Shinkame 20 Year Aged Junmai "Mahoto"

Shinkame Shuzo, a family-run brewery in Saitama, became a fully committed Junmai-shu producer in 1987, though it has been a leader in the Junmai-shu movement since it's establishment in 1948 by the Ogawahara family. Known for promoting matured sake and kanzake, this brewery produces "Mahoto" using organic 60 percent milled Gohyakumangoku rice from Chiba, aged for over 20 years, resulting in a smooth, rich flavor. Brewed in 2003, this sake was aged for two decades and bottled upon request.
