2024 Jikon Is Here! - Raffle Entry Rules
Every time we get Jikon, we try our best to make things fair and honest for our customers. This year, we're going to try out a raffle system for BOTH our local in-store customers and our loyal online customers.
When the raffle window opens, you will either add a free raffle ticket to your online shopping cart, OR you can come to our shop at 556 Hayes St to enter the raffle for the chance to purchase the Jikon(s) you would like. There is no fee to enter the raffle.
If you win and are selected, and after purchasing your bottle, you can then pick up your Jikon(s) at the store, OR have your bottles shipped to your preferred destination.
Sounds like a lot, but the buzz around Jikon has forced us to look for a way for our customers to obtain bottles fairly. Thank you for understanding.
The 2024 raffle dates will be from 12:00am Friday December 6, 2024 to Thursday December 12, 2024 at 11:59pm. Any entries before or after this window will not be honored. Please read the rules before entering!
Official rules:
- Sign ups are done in person OR online.
- Must have or make a customer profile with True Sake.
- Must subscribe to the True Sake newsletter (this will be double checked).
- Only one (1) raffle per person per household.
- You can enter a raffle for other Jikon expressions (you can enter a raffle for 1 Yamada Nishiki and 1 Omachi, but not 2 Yamada Nishiki).
- Please only enter the raffle for the bottles you intend to buy. There will be no order editing afterwards.
- You will be notified the following week if you have been selected. If you are not notified, you have not been selected.
- If you are chosen and after being notified, you have 24 hours to respond and purchase the bottle(s). If we do not hear back in 24 hours, your entry will be dropped and a new entry will be chosen at random.
- Name on the government issued ID, credit card used, person picking up must all match, and it has to be you. NO FAMILY OR FRIENDS OR COLLEAGUES PICKING UP ON YOUR BEHALF.
- You have 30 days to pick up after purchasing. If bottle(s) are not picked up within 30 days, another person will be chosen at random. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Any foul play detected will lose the chance to purchase bottle(s) in the raffle. Which includes immediate refunds if the bottle(s) were already purchased, and being disqualified from all future raffles.
- Rules are subject to change without notice and we hold the right to determine if foul play was made.
