Let’s GO! – Sake “Promotions” with Koueigiku Hello! Omachi
Thank you to all the readers who looked at our “Promotions” section that we mentioned in the last Newsletter. You are smart people indeed. When we talk about “Promotions” as a team, we always use the word “win.” The sakes that we feature are winners, and those who purchase them at a discount are winners too. It’s the ye’ole win-win scenario, and it just got a lot tastier. Huh? Wha? Why? As you know, our “Promotions” are selected brews that need to get to you quicker for a myriad of reasons and we’re not just moving inventory.
When you next click on “Promotions” you will hear our Team yelling “Let’s GO!” For a limited time, we are placing one of our “bestest” and most precious brews in the Promotions section so we don’t cross beams with the new release that is shipped and out on the water now. This is your chance to load up on one of the most versatile and inviting sakes at our store and it’s also a True Sake Selection, which basically means it’s awesome if our name is on the bottle! Are you feeling the win-win?

The shot clock is on! For a limited time one of our favorite True Sake Selections (#4) Koueigiku Muroka Nama Genshu “Hello! Omachi” is available at a 20% discount. This “Newborn Sake” is totally exclusive to True Sake, and the other brews from this brewery are selling like hotcakes, and we feel like we have the best sake from this brewery. The Koueigiku brand is on fire globally, and for good reason. They make lively, delicious, and very intelligent sake that drinks great on its own, but is also extremely food friendly. And yes it is Omachi – lovely, beautiful, and exotic Omachi rice that is the siren of the sake rice varietals now with many dedicated Omachi festivals and competitions going on in Japan. And yes again, this Omachi has won gold!
And the True Sake Team wanted you to know that Hello Omachi pairs great with pate, tonkotsu ramen, chocolate peanut butter mousse, Korean fried chicken, Japanese karaage, cheese/charcuterie, citrus glazed pork chops or salmon, anything spicy and umami rich, and basically anything that is served at an izakaya, which is basically like comfort food Japanese style. Pairs great and drinks great and all that you need is a bottle or two to “Let’s GO!”
